Lars Qaqqaq is an Inuk born and raised in Baker Lake, Nunavut. His career started as summer student working in Environmental field research work at Agnico Eagle. He has worked as a water quality monitor for the Hunter’s and Trappers Organization and later as a field technician for Nunavut Environmental Consulting. Lars was also one of the youngest councillors to run and serve on the Baker Lake Municipal Council.
